The contact owns a 2001 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that when starting the vehicle there was a sound of metal rubbing near the engine. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred however, the noise was continuous whenever the engine of the vehicle was running. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage 51,500.
