I've had my 2010 Camaro since 11-7-09. Had 3 miles on it when received. In October 2014,(28000 miles) the front passenger side brake started to squeak, not badly, just an annoyance. By December 2014 it got really bad on the passenger front and back brake. Replaced all the rotor's and brake pads with semi- metallic pads. Not even 2 weeks later, the front passenger side brake was squeaking again. March 2015 replaced rotor's and pads again, this time with ceramic pads..... SQUEAKING again. It's worse when the car has not been moved for 24 hours. Doesn't matter what kind of weather, rain, sunny, hot, cold.... they squeak!
I paid $ 51,000 dollars for this car. Run's great. I don't drive it hard. I tried slamming on the brake's,(going 20 miles an hour) lightly tapping them,(seating the brake's) nothing works. I have enough brake parts,(the rotor's and semi-metallic pads)with less than 500 miles on them, I don't want to collect anymore. I really like my car and don't want to trade it with a mustang (EWWWW) But at least Mustang fixed there brake squeak.
