The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the headlamps became inoperable. An abnormal popping sound was heard coming from the radio. Several minutes after the failure, the headlamps resumed normal operation independent of driver input. Additionally, the popping sound was also heard while the turn signals were activated. A dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a complaint was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
