The problem is that when you are listening to audio through Bluetooth on the stock radio, the audio quality sounds like trash. Many of the notes sound distorted, as if they are constantly going up and down slightly in pitch. Only Bluetooth is affected by this issue.
When I first bought the car, the issue didn't bother me because I could plug my phone into the AUX port. The AUX port does not have this issue. However, when I upgraded to an iPhone 7 (without a headphone jack), I was forced to use the Bluetooth feature. This issue is consistent every single time I use my phone for music.
I have not personally sought correction at the dealer, but I have heard from many who have. They all unanimously say that their Chevrolet dealership stated that the radios are simply build this way and it was not an issue that they could correct. I personally think this is ridiculous, seeing as it's the stock radio in my almost-new Camaro.
