I have lost radio sound, door chimes and turn signal sound. I took it to the dealer, spent the money to have them diagnosis the issue. They first said it was the amplifier and they had to order the part. They ordered the part, installed the part and that was not the issue. They put the old amplifier back in and told me that they think it is the radio head unit which is about a $1300 replacement, not including installation and labor. I was told to get an after market radio and have it installed.
The real fix has not been found as of yet. I have researched the issue and others say it is the BCM. However in a Chevy Camaro in the instrument panel you have 6 different BCM and the manual does not tell you what they are for.
Have any one else had this issue and has a real fix been found? Thanks.
