The key is stuck in ignition. First time I was charged #250.00 (Sept 2017). The issue began re-occurring in May, 2018. It just kept getting worse. Now dealership wants $575.00 to replace the shifter assembly to fix an ignition key problem!!! GM ignition problems have been happening for years. A poor design.

I just bought a 2012 CHEVY CAPTIVA 3 weeks ago. The radio goes on and off, now the key is stuck in the ignition. This is so embarrassing. The dealer should have fixed this before selling the vehicle. I'm having the vehicle towed back to the dealership and leave on the lot until this is taken care of. I had to leave the car with the key in on Bread Co parking lot and called uber to get to work.
