problem #5

Colorado ES 3.7L Inline 5

  • Automatic transmission

Truck runs hotter than normal. New radiator, Fan, thermostat, system flush. Gauge shows 3/4. Temperature runs @10 hotter than normal. Mechanic says that is not normal but it is not overheating. No leaks, has the mechanics perplexed. Had gauge checked it is off a little (normal for age) but would not put it to 3/4. Maybe the high side of the half mark.

Colorado ES 3.7L V5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

This is the second radiator that I have had to put into my 2008 Colorado at this point I am very pissed that I have gone through one radiator and now have to put in a second one..... What is going on that I would have to replace it twice. I don't off road or drive my truck hard. I am always doing all of my maintenance on it on a timely matter. I feel like there is something else going on.

Colorado ES 3.7L V5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 77,000 miles

with all of the problems with my radiator that I have had I have now changed out my water pump and hoping that I am done with all of my problems with my temperature gauge running high. If not I will be looking at getting a new truck... Not looking forward to having payments again....... Very unhappy......

Colorado ES 3.7L V5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

I don't believe that I should have to replace the radiator at 25000 miles. I am the only owner of my truck and I was not prepared to have to pay for a new radiator so soon after getting my brand new 2008 Colorado.

Colorado ES 3.7L V5

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

I am now very unhappy with my truck, this is the third radiator in my truck and still not sure what is causing it to run hot. Something else must be causing this to happen.
