There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the torque converter and a fluid change were needed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and offered to assist with the cost of the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.
