- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have the base power seat, Memory Recall, and Easy Exit Recall functions may seem erratic or seem to operate intermittently. The new seat system utilizes two switches that were not used on prior models. There is a bulkhead limit switch and a seatback unlock switch. Both of these switches can be viewed in Global Diagnostic System 2. There are also 2 modes that were not on prior models. These modes are unsupervised movement and supervised movement. This all-new system allows the user to Enable or Disable the Auto Memory Recall operation of the seat.
