Purchased this car new. Noticed a bumping sound in the front end when turning slowly in either direction at approx 1,000 miles. By 3,000 miles, the noise had escalated to a grinding, metal to metal noise when turning. Took vehicle in to two dealers on three occasions. They finally gave me a "bulletin" describing the problem as "Ackermann effect." typical of all Corvettes. The noise continues to grow louder, and I guess I'll just have to wait until the front end falls off to get the car Lemon law-ed! I have owned Corvettes all of my life, and I have never heard of anything like this.
