Around early July, I had been noticing some problems starting to crop up with the engine, particularly, a plume of smoke that would occasionally burst out of the exhaust pipe as I would press down on the accelerator. I never really noticed any problems outside of that and thought that it was probably something to do with the intake manifold since they have problems with oil getting into the engine. In mid-July I was getting an occasional misfire every now and again, and by late July, it was constantly misfiring, even under idle. Turned out that the head gasket blew in between the coolant jacket and cylinder #1, which was just feeding coolant into the cylinder. All in all, it cost me $3,000 to fix. They replaced the head gasket, oil cooler, and the ignition coil
