So yesterday night I was at walmart and I had the car idling while putting stuff in the car the interior lights dimmed and there was a rattle that came from underneath the car right after the car stalled out twice, I had interior lights on but no power to the engine just sitting and once I started driving it didn't stall out on highway, but there is a possibility of this happening at a stop sign or traffic light, but again no check engine light, wondering if you can research into this? seems to be a reoccurring situation.
While in drive, radio, dash lights and turn signals randomly shut off. Not sure if turn signals are working even though no sound - praying other drivers can see when I'm turning"? sometimes I'm just sitting at a red light and everything goes quiet. The length of time varies, so it can be startling when everything suddenly comes back on. This has happened many times over the past few months. Overall, may sound insignificant, but the (working?") turn signals is a safety issue!!
This car is crazy. Starts on its own if key left in ignition. Radio goes on and off constantly. Power steering tries to go out. Lights up like a christmas tree. I fear for my life and it needs a recall.
When I drive my vehicle my brakes work fine most of the time. From time to time when I'm at a red light the pedal will slowly start to go all the way down and car will start moving forward. I have to release it and quickly pump the brake again to stop it. Then this has happened more than just a few times; when pulling out of a parking spot on reverse my brakes won't respond and the car will just go backwards and I have to pull the emergency brake because there is no other way of stoping it. Now I do not want to hit any vehicle or person!!!! I have taken it in to shops to have it looked at but no one seams to find the problem, because apparently the breakers have no visible issues. Also one reverse light if not both at times, will stay on while driving.
Driving home at 9pm on a high speed/traffic highway, we had all electricity/steering suddenly go out, then when it came back on popped up with a "service stabilitrak " message. Luckily, it came back on before a wreck but scared all of us to pieces. The car was being driven at the posted 70mph speed limit, but started to decelerate when power was lost. This happened on 07/08/19. Today, 07/11/19 we had to jump the car and the turn signals no longer do the little "click" noise, and the dash screen/backup camera won't come on, although the radio still somehow works. Also on lunch break today, car was dead, key wouldn't come out of the ignition till the car was jump started. As this seems to be a major issue with the car, why hasn't it been recalled?

While driving my car the radio dashboard will start flashing on and off on its own then when I put the car in park and turn it off the key is stuck in the ignition and the dashboard is completely black and the car will not turn on at all. 3/28/2019 around 11pm the car radio dash board was flashing and I turn my car off and it will not allow me to take the key out at all well some time through out the night the car turned back on because at 6am the lights where back on in my car by itself. The next morning I drive my car to school and it does the same thing with the dashboard and flashing on and off and it shuts off again, this time I get a jump start and the car is back working. The car also act as if it was going to shut off while driving it. But it has done this to me back on November 8,2018. I fear for my life driving this car beacuse you have no idea when the car will shut off while on the road. Someone has to do something about this issue because if some one die in a car accident and it is found to be electrical problems there is a big law suit coming. I am making this complaint just for that. We spends literally thousands of dollars on a car and when the car has a defect the consumers are messed over by the dealerships and whom ever makes the car. Then you have to have so many complaints in order for a recall or is it how many people have to die in order for someone to look and see that this car has electrical issues and will shut off on you at ant time.hello! it never fails the car starts giving you issue after the warranty has expired its like they have it program.I am complaining because they are avoiding the fact that this car has major electrical issues and how many complaints or lives will it take for a recall? my car was stationary, in motion, on the highway when this all happened. I've noticed my radio and lights on screen goes out while I'm driving sometimes and I think that's an electrical problem and could probably start fire.
When the vehicle comes to a stop the headlights start to glitch, the radio goes off and a warning for the stabilitrak comes on as well as a power steering warning. Once the car comes to a stop intermittently it will go completely dead and the negative battery cable if tapped on will cause the vehicle to come back on with no issue. Battery has been replaced as new but issue still occurs
My display and radio began intermittently flashing off and on. Then my stabilitrak service light began coming on. I have loss of power and am concerned for my safety trying to drive under these conditions. I am contacting the manufacturer who should warranty this manufacturing defect. There are hundreds of complaints on the Chevy forum website. We deserve some sort of help with this and not at our expense. The problem I described happened while stationary and in motion but the loss of power is while driving. I'm concerned about getting hit while driving. Please help. A warning light came on for the airbag randomly. It evolved to the following issues: Radio control panel going out with no volume control besides the steering wheel, static on the radio, a warning that park assist needed to be serviced (vehicle does not have park assist), headlights would not turn off upon the vehicle being turned off. The "solution" as there were so many errors that randomly started popping up (mind you, my car was serviced less than a month ago) is a $1500 change of a sensor or unplug the backup camera permanently. This clearly is a manufacturer defect, as why all of a sudden would the car suddenly think I have features that I don't even have on the car.
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving various speeds, the headlights failed without warning. The contact stated that the failure previously occurred and was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (preston hood Chevrolet located on 11325 cedar lake rd, biloxi, ms, 39532), but was not diagnosed due to the diagnostic fee. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in any recalls. The manufacturer provided case number: 8-3011886244. The failure mileage was 57,999.
Within a month of buying this vehicle, the orange blinker reflector fell off and was just sitting inside the headlight. Because it was under warranty, the dealership fixed it. About two months letter, the same thing happened to the other side and my car was no longer under warranty. The only way to fix this is to change out the entire headlight. According to the dealership, it can't just be fixed. Both times this happened, the vehicle was stationary.
The turn light reflectors fell out of both driver and passenger sides. The vehicle was stationary when this happened. I am tring to find a way to replace just that specific part but can not seem to find that specific part.
Headlights turn signal reflectors are burning and melting inside headlight and when cool breaking off and landing in the front of the headlight. Both driver and passenger sides.
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. While driving at 55 mph, the engine stalled and both of the headlights became inoperable. The contact crashed the vehicle into a side railing. The contact stated that the signal indicators were inoperable. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was not filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.
I was driving East on the road. The car in front of me suddenly stopped and I was unable to stop before hitting them. I do feel I was following at a safe distance but for some reason the car did not slow down or stop as I feel it should have. The front end of the car crumpled though the air bags never deployed and the onstar crash response never activated. There was also very minimal, if any, damage to the car in front of me (possibly dented the bumper). On a side note, I have owned this car for 2 months now and have only been able to drive it for approximately 17 days because I have to keep taking it back to the shop to be worked on for malfunctions in other systems of the brand new car. I am concerned that there may have been a malfunction with the brakes system or airbags as well.
