So far, I've had this problem happen to me twice. While driving, I will go to take a turn and the entire wheel locks up. The first time it happened I just kind of blew it off not really thinking about it because I was pulling into a parking lot. The second time it happen I was driving at highway speed getting ready to take a right turn, AND THE WHEEL LOCKED! I couldn't do anything but brake and hope the car behind me didn't hit me, and try not to hit the concrete wall that was in front of me. It scared me to death. I refuse to drive my car now and the dealership isn't trying to help me neither is GM. They said a recall was made for the basic Chevy Cruze for that problem, but my car was never recalled because it's an RS and not many people had complained about it. I can't drive my car! I could have been seriously hurt or injured maybe even killed and not to mention my 10 month old baby was in the back seat. I'm getting a lawyer involved because this is just completely unacceptable!

While my daughter was driving her 2014 cruze on the freeway, she lost all electricals on her dashboard and the ability to steer her vehicle. After a few seconds, the vehicle seems to come back on and she was able to continue only to have it happen yet again but this time it was while she was making a turn. This time her car came to a stop in the middle of an intersection. When she got home we did out research online only to find that there were hundreds of people experiencing the same issues. Upon further research, GM issued a "service bulletin" but has yet to issue a recall for this hazardous safety issue. I guess it takes many deaths before GM will do something about it? I've read where people have gone back to the dealership for service only to leave without having the problem fixed. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! GM NEEDS TO STEP UP DO THE RIGHT THING!!! You charge an arm and a leg for your vehicles but refuse to stand by your product when something major goes wrong? SHAME ON YOU!!!! Once we fix the issue, this piece of sh*t car will be traded in and it will be a cold day in hell before I purchase another GM product! And rest assured I will tell everyone I know as well as all social media contacts about this.
