THIS VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALL BY Chevy DUE TO NUMEROUS FAILURES ,HEAD GASKET, REAR SEAL GASKET,STEERING BOX AND COLUMN SHAFT, ALL THE FRONT END PROBLEMS ALL NEW P[ARTS REPLACED FRONT AND BACK .STILL GETTING THUMPING NOISE WHEN BRAKING...i HAVE COMPLAINED CONSTANTLY ABOUT THIS VEHICLE VIN# 2CNDL73F56028891.I HAVE CALLED THE CAC OF CHEVY0GM DIVISION ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS AT -1800-222-1020 OVER 75 TIMES AND E MAILED THEM 100 TIMES TO NO AVAIL. STILL NO POSITIVE RESPONSE...THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD PLACE THIS VEHICLE ON RECALL FOR THE STEERING BOX ALONE FAILURE...IF THERE A HIGH OFFICIAL IN THE GOVERNMENT OUT THERE PLEAS REVIEW THIS ISSUE. This problem has occurred several times , too many times to even count I am fed up and tired of being at the dealer ship more then I am at work . they are to be able to fix the veh. and for some reason they have no clue. It seems like I am not the only one with theses issues. I have tried to go and trade my veh from Ford to Kia to even Mazda they all laugh cause they no it s a piece of sh*t. I have told every one I have known not to buy one and sure enough they have all gone to Honda or Nissan etc ........And As of today no complaints with there veh / service !

I always hear a thumping noise in the rear passenger side of the car, and when others hear it no one knows what it is. I really hate this POS, and the monthly problems that I pay for something that gives me so much trouble and halfway works, I could really cry. It is very upsetting that no one is doing anything about all the problems that many Equinox owners are having. A lot of Chevrolets look good, but they have some of the same problems that the Equinox has. I would not recommend anyone to buy a Chevrolet and I will never buy another Chevrolet. I don' t even think I would drive it if it was given to me.
