GM is well aware of their mistake in poor engineering of the hatch design. I'm not sure which model year, they corrected the problem, but the design has since been changed. I inquired about this issue, at the dealership, where I had warranty service done, and was told there were no bulletins on this. I believe the appearance of the area affected, not only looks bad, but it adversely affects the value of my vehicle. The only fair thing to do, is for GM to take responsibility for this problem, and correct the matter by replacing the hatch with updated version, or at the very least, repairing the existing hatch. Thank You, for any assistance you may provide me, in having this matter taken care of. Sincerely, Robert R. Goddard.
