We had just pulled out onto 123 in Easley. Nothing was coming. We were stopping at the red light in front of Walmart when a car slammed into the rear of my car sending me into the rear of the van in front of us. Neither air bag deployed. My husband was on passenger side and his seat belt didn't lock. My sun visors came loose and he had a deep cut across his right eyebrow. We both had black eyes his nose was broken, but there was so much swelling there was nothing they could do. My belt did lock. Slamming me into my console both knees hit dash. Seatbelt burn in several places. It was horrible. We were lucky not to have been killed. I didn't get a lawyer big mistake. The car that hit me was totaled along with mine. I dealt with trying just to get bills payed for a year. It's now my opinion that if my Chevrolet had functioned properly, some of our injuries could have been prevented
