Our car is fairly new, we bought in in Nov. of 2013 new. We loved it! I would say as far back as Sept. of 2016, was the first time we encountered a problem. Water was spewing from the top air vent as we had the defrost on. We tried changing the air flow to heat and that wasn't working either, it was coming out cold. We immediately took it to be looked at but they said they could not find anything! As the days past, the car was working fine again. We keep up with the oil changes and made sure everything is in good working order.
Now this year, in February we put the heat on of course, why wouldn't we, and cool air was coming out, again, we took it to be checked and again, they said they couldn't find anything!!! After being sick and tired of freezing I decided to fiddle around and I put the air on cool....guess what, heat came out! Our system is now opposite, if you put in on cool we get heat, if you put it on AC we get heat!!
I did call the warranty department at Chevy on Friday, March 3,2017 to see if this was covered, to no avail have I received a return call back. I also spoke to the service dept. .they said it will cost $125.00 to have a diagnostic test done on the car which they scheduled for March 20, 2017. I know what's going to happen and I do not want to spend a dime. I don't have this kind of money as I am sure it is the case with so many other. Any help is not having to pay this hefty price for Chevy's mistakes would be most grateful. They know what's going on and they are doing nothing but giving customers the run around!
