The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact heard a loud grinding sound coming from the passenger-€™s side front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, but the mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The failure persisted and the vehicle was brought back to the same dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the rotors needed to be cut. The mechanic cut the rotors however after several months the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 67,000.
