The power steering light came on and the car became very difficult to steer as I was driving out of a business parking lot. I pulled to the side and turned off the car. I restarted the car and it the power steering light stayed off and the power steering worked again. I cautiously drove home. The car is a 2007 Chevrolet HHR with 153,000 miles on the odometer and we've owned the vehicle since it was new.
