The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu maxx. When the steering wheel was turned to the left and when starting the vehicle, an abnormal noise emerged from the steering wheel. The dealer was notified of the failure and indicated that it was due to a safety feature. In addition, the brake lights remained illuminated when the brakes had not been applied. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 14V252000 (electrical system, electronic stability control, exterior lighting, service brakes, hydraulic, vehicle speed control). The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was not available.
2005 mailbu maxx. Consumer states intermittent problems with brake lights the consumer stated the brake lights would illuminate when the brake wasn't applied and would not illuminate when the brake was applied. The dealer replaced the brake lamp, but the problem continued.
