At 32,000 miles my automatic shifter kept sticking in park. Took it to dealer to find out that the wires at shift solenoid were broken and frayed. They tried to say it was wear and tear. Really at that low mileage on a car that is very clean. The shifter goes to park, drive or reverse. Chevy dealer informed me that it was not covered under the Chevy warranty due to the age of the vehicle. Wow, they got me on that one.
They only made excuses for why these wires were frayed or broken. I emailed Chevy because those wires were inside the console, the car has only 32,000 miles on it and they frayed and broke?
How pathetic is that!
