2001 Chevrolet S10. The contact stated the vehicle will not start immediately when it was damp. It took a long time for vehicle to start. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic, and they could not find what was wrong with the vehicle. A recall was issued, but this vehicle was not included, no information was available. This has been happening for three weeks. The battery and battery cable have been checked.
Electrical/ at times it will not start, engine turns over but no fire, fuel, ect.30min later it starts. Engine/ burning 1qt. Of oil per 1,000 miles, dealer knows, at this time nothing done, dealer states defective oil passeges
While driving 45 mph vehicle stalled without prior warning. Dealer said there was a short in the wiring harness, had blown 2 fuses. Dealer rerouted the wiring harness so that it would not get as hot, stating that the vehicle would not likely stall again.
