Beginning December 2002, vehicle will unexpectedly lose power and lack accelerator response. Code P0123 active and present indicating problem in the throttle position sensor circuit. Sensor replaced and wiring inspected. Problem persists.
While driving 45 mph vehicle stalled without prior warning. Dealer said there was a short in the wiring harness, had blown 2 fuses. Dealer rerouted the wiring harness so that it would not get as hot, stating that the vehicle would not likely stall again.
