I made the mistake of getting this truck for my 16 year old son - little did I know I was putting his life in jeopardy!! Back rotors and brakes were shot so we completely disassembled and greased the rear calipers and replaced the rotors and pads. After driving several miles the rotors were red HOT! We again disassembled thinking we did something wrong (30 years of doing this!!) but everything was fine. Greased again reassembled test drove and same issue. Purchased new calipers - installed, flushed brake fluid and nothing!!! Could not bleed rear calipers at all, no fluid coming through. Inspected the lines and they are completely rusted inside and out! I have been a Chevrolet man for 40 years and never thought they would put my son's life at risk to save a BUCK using cheap materials!!
I will update with the VIN shortly
