I test drove 4 trucks before deciding this truck was the one I wanted and after 8,000km of ownership, and the radiator leaking, I would have been pretty mad but it was more a weekend long inconvenience. It was the Guinea pig model and the new rad was definitely different than the original. Not to mention the mechanic knew exactly where to look. There should have been a recall in my opinion but lesson learned - especially for a Guinea pig model, it’s worth the extended warranty.

One day I noticed the coolant level in my overflow reservoir was low. Figured maybe it was time to add some so I could bring the "Cold" level to where its supposed to be. The tank had literally a few drops left in it. I added coolant and then a few days later started smelling the sweet smell of coolant from inside. Came out from work one day and saw a nice puddle on the ground. Took it to the dealer and they found a leak in the top corner of the radiator. Dealer replaced the radiator for $1,300
