The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that gasoline fuel fumes emitted into the vehicle. The contact mentioned that smoke was also emitting from the engine. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician diagnosed that the fuel injector seals had failed and would need to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 950.
