The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, she entered the passenger-€™s side and heard an abnormally loud sound and noticed that the passenger-€™s side rear window had shattered. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact notified her insurance provider of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving 30 mph, the rear driver's side window exploded without warning. There were no injuries. The contact veered to the shoulder of the road to inspect the vehicle and noticed that the rear driver's side door glass was shattered. Luther brookdale Chevrolet (6701 brooklyn blvd, brooklyn center, mn 55429, (612) 326-3850) was contacted and stated that the VIN was not included in any active recalls. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle to be diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 111,000.
