The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the vehicle was shaking abnormally. The contact stated that the vehicle felt as if it was being driven over bumps in the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with torque converter failure. The contact was informed that the torque converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 41,500.
