Paint chipping all over, front, top of hood, side, all over.
Complained to dealer. Result: outside influence. Complained to Chevy "Customer Care". Result: outside influence. Drafted an open letter to Chevrolet Executives. Actually receive a contact back from Bryan. After uploading photos and video and telling him to simply search google for Silverado paint chipping.....
He finally responded with " it has been deemed that the environment in which you operate the vehicle has contributed to the road rash on the vehicle" WHAT AN ABSURD STATEMENT!!!
I operate my vehicle primarily on the Massachusetts Turnpike. It has never been off road or on dirt roads. I use it to travel to work and back, 104 miles per day round trip. All but 3 of those miles are on the interstate. So, is it Chevrolet's position that a 2018 Silverado 1500 should not be operated on interstates or paint damage is to be expected?
What is most amusing is the "Z-71 Off Road" sticker on the rear of my truck. I was truly unaware that "Off Road" meant--- KEEP IT OFF THE ROAD.
