GM knew the engines were defective and sold them anyway. I hear a lot of problems about this engine the 6.2. I am a retired Veteran and I chose this truck as my last new one. I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder when I was discharged. I can no longer drive the truck without being distracted listening for engine noises. This is a dangerous situation caused by GM. I looked into selling the truck which I purchased on December 12th 2023 new. The price has gone through the floor and now you can not find a single person who would consider buying it. this causes me great anxiety.

GM was so sure that eh problem could be fixed with an oil change they are dreaming I lost value of the truck which I paid over $100,000,00.Iif it should completely break down I am out of luck for the money to repair it. If there isn't problem they knew about why did they refuse to sell an other vehicles they has with the 6.2 engine, even used ones they had on there lots. I demand a fix with a new and improved engine and be compensated for lose of money up to $75,000.00 or buy the truck back or replace it with another new truck without the defect.

Update from Aug 31, 2026 it is very distracting driving this truck listening for noises, which causes dangerous conditions.
