As with most electrical problems, this one has been difficult to isolate. It seems to be intermittent except when the vehicle sits for more than two weeks, then it definitely drains the battery. Sometimes the vehicle starts after two - three days, other times the battery is dead after two days. The only time it seems to be okay is when the vehicle is started every day. I have had a couple different mechanics work on it and still has the problem after replacing a computer module and disconnecting the after market alarm and remote start system. I have spent approximately $1,000 on troubleshooting so far and hesitate to pour more money into it since it is intermittent.
