The information displays 4WD service constantly. In addition, the 4WD selection buttons show the 4WD to be in "N-neutral" or "no-lights displayed" when the truck is in motion and under power, and in "4L-4 low" with the truck sputtering erratically, but definitely not in 4L. All without being selected. So far I have discovered if I select "auto" the 4WD service light does not display. This issue is recurring and has been "repaired" previously by a dealership.

Silverado 2500 4WD 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 200 miles
The vehicle makes a high pitch noise while lightly accelerating. It strongly appears to be coming from the transmission. The dealers to date has refused to acknowledge this problem with my vehicle. I have had this complaint since the first week of purchasing the vehicle. I presently have 2200 miles.
