Had to drop my spare tire. It only would go down about 3 inches and then stopped. Caught on the secondary locking system. I read my manual - what a joke and it's dangerous trying to use the jack to get it to free the lock. What a pain in the ass and it still didn't work. I let you know I was doing this on a concrete apron in front of my garage, I could not imagine trying this off road or any where in an emergency. I hope Chevrolet has fixed this issue on newer models.
