This particular problem resulted in the truck not starting randomly. Mostly when I was away from home with my horses and trailer. If I cranked and cranked, but hopefully not enough to kill the starter motor, it finally would start. Sometimes it would start and then stall immediately.
My real annoyance is that I keep having sensor failures with this vehicle. The first was an emission sensor that failed, under warranty. The second was A DEF sensor that failed, under warranty. And now this one, not under warranty. Sensor after sensor fails and requires that I take the truck back to the dealer. Not a reliable vehicle.
