We have had two sets of fuel injectors replaced and a fuel sensor put in. Just turned 83000 miles and now the code P11db is showing which is the nox sensor, not covered by warranty even with all the fuel system issues we've had.

I have now had my Chevy 2013 Silverado in for oil consumption tests for the last 3 months and it has failed them. When I first brought it in I was told that they would replace the piston rings. When it finally failed they are now saying the are only replacing the head gasket and the rocker arms. Neither one of these have anything to do with my truck burning oil. This is the second vehicle I have owned that has has issues burning oil the first one they told me that it was normal for it to burn oil. They need to do what they originally told me and replace the piston rings. What happens if this engine goes while I am going down the highway

Update of NHTSA id number: 10809089. The stabilitrak and reduced engine power has increased to the following obd codes: P0010, P0122, P0202, P0233, P0335, P0455, P0340, P1682, P2089 as well. At this point there doesn't appear to be anything left on the vehicle that does work. Since the recalls and technical bulletins all appear to have been "completed" for this vehicle I guess I can look forward to repeating the same problematic repairs again and again for the remainder of the time that I own this vehicle which do not appear to have resolved but merely band aided away until they reappear. Even the drivers door switches all had to be replaced which tells me that this is related to an electrical problem and with so many complaints the matter had forced consumers to pay for repairs that were designed to fail without regard to the consumers safety nor financial burdens. It appears that the electrical issues which most are directly linked to the defective engine wiring harness and grounding issues as many technicians are reporting. At this point the truck needs to be totaled.

On Aug 2, 2015 about 25 miles East of grand junction co. Driving speed was about 65 mph on interstae I-70. My Chevy Silverado 2500 went into a computer shut down.being a skilled professional driver, with a class a cdl I just made it to the shoulder before truck shur down, truck and travel trailer I was towing needed to be towed to ed bozarth GM dealer.on Monday I was informed would need to pay $ 775 to determine point of failure. At the time a company called speedco was and maybe suspect as to cause. The did a oil change and fuel filter in w. memphis ar. This service was done on July 24,2015. On July 25,2015 truck no start, speedco came out with another fuel filter. When first fuel filter taken off, there were no gaskets. However GM appears to be conceling material facts as to internal service bulletins. This bulletin as to point failer was printed Aug 3, 2015, 5 pages. A estimate by said dealer was given to speedco and myself in the amount of $ $8,692.02. When the fuel injection pump went, sent metal shavings though my whole system engine, fuel oil, cooling system ect. GM has know about this problem for a long time, however failed to disclose to its customers. In my opinion to allow for warranty to expire. Once speedco was presented with service bulletin they backed down from paying. GM had proved to speedco that GM is the problem. I have contacted GM in detrioit many times with different case numbers. One phone call I got from GM, stated the original estimated stated above was far low. When I asked how much, stated to me could not say however much higher. I'm in possession of a lot of documentation. I havn't scaned the documents yet. This truck was purchased in Oct. Of 2013 for $ 56,000, bank financing. Also this truck was purchased to earn a living pulling new travel trailers. My excellent credit is on the line due to this lemom. Truck had 20K, with warranty.

On acceleration from a stop, the RPM's race while shifting. Vehicle acts as if the transmission is slipping from 1-2. early in the life of the vehicle I thought this was only something that happened the first time shifting after pulling out of the garage however, as the truck gets more miles on it, the problem happens more often and when taking off from stops when hot. Vehicle was brought to dealer to diagnose complaint and was told there was a bulletin to address this problem but since the tech couldn't verify it, they didn't do anything. Dealer said I have a good powertrain warranty so if something breaks later I should be covered. Not only is this unprofessional and poor customer service, they literally did nothing to attempt to diagnose or confirm the problem. There seems to be numerous complaints on this site related to RPM racing complaints.

I have a concern about the 5.3 liter engine in my 2013 Chevy Silverado. I am encountering piston slap for up to 5 minutes when starting vehicle. I have contacted GM multiple times, and I have had the piston slap noise documented at roy robinson Chevrolet in marysville wa. I am attempting to get my defective engine replaced under warranty, but GM does not seem to care. I am concerned one of the pistons could fail, causing engine failure, putting myself or a family member in a fatal situation. I believe this issue is important to have documented. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you
