In 2017 the truck started making a slight ticking sound from the engine so I asked the mechanic about it when I got the oil changed and he said it was a valve problem the GM had no fix for yet. Over time the ticking got louder so I took it back to the dealership last year and the noise as it turns out was from the exhaust manifold bolts breaking off and the exhaust is leaking into the cab. I contacted GM and could not get them to pay for the repairs. After doing an internet search I found out that this is an ongoing problem with these trucks. This is a safety issue and GM needs to fix the problem. Nhtsa made GM do a recall on the 2019 Buick Enclave because of a possible exhaust leak under the floor and I believe GM should be forced to do a recall on these trucks considering the exhaust fumes are coming out directly in front of the drivers compartment.

Trailer brake system alert constantly comes on. with or without trailer connected. It comes on from the time I start the truck until I shut it off. It is a distraction when the warning chime is constantly ringing. I can't even use my speaker phone due to the chime constantly ringing. I took it to the local dealer and they can't find the problem. No code comes up on their machines for the problem. No other problems before this happened. Just started about 2 months ago and will not shut off.

Emission Computer System Issue: While pulling a 5th Wheel RV through the mountains of New Mexico three emission codes came up on the truck as we climbed a hill. One of the codes related to turbocharger emissions. As we climbed the truck automatically went into low power mode and basically shutdown. We tried to pull the vehicle off the road but were unable to totally do so. We were stuck on a hill with the 5th wheel in a position where we could have been hit by traffic in an area with no cell or other services. As I carry a code reader in the truck, I quickly pulled up the codes and was able to delete them and get the truck back off the road (This is why I don't have the exact codes) The truck never through another code for the next 2,000 mile and to this day has not thrown any further codes. This is not the first time this has occurred. The safety issue related to the computer immediately shutting down the truck for emission reasons? It is my understanding that it should provide a warning that it will shut down in a certain amount of miles. It provided no warning and put us in a position with major safety implications. There should be nothing that should shut down any engine without a proper notification.

Water leak on headliner at sun visor or overhead console areas. Have reached out to Chevrolet dealership to address concern of issue that I was able to locate same thing happening to this year vehicle where tsbs have been identified to be told my VIN # is not listed. This would require me to have a water specialist come out to the dealership to assess the issue before any repairs can be made to vehicle since there is no tsb listed. NHTSA tsb # 10137374 & 10089829.

Water leak on headliner at sun visor or overhead console areas, result of shark fin antenna. Vehicle not listed under vins for NHTSA tsb # 10089829 & 10089829. Vehicle has previously had dead battery which dealer claimed it was old battery, and therefore replaced my terminals and I purchased a new battery. My truck is a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 crew cab and is experiencing the same issue as this service bulletin is listing. Therefore dealer has stated it would be $120 to have outside company come in to inspect vehicle before and additional write up could be done and repair would be out of pocket.

The Chevy ac compressor bolt broke before 48K miles while driving on a paved city street in san diego. This failure caused the condenser to also fail and both parts have to be replaced. The total bill for repairs is $2,150.31 and the copy of the invoices is submitted (exclude the fuel filter replacement costs as that was regular maintenance work). The ac compressor failure is caused by cheap parts and is a common problem for all GM products before 100K miles. This should be a recall item as it is a safety risk if the failure result in a vehicle fire or drive belt failure (stranded vehicle) or a loss of Focus while driving.

I have had the vehicle into the selling dealer several times for a bad vibration issue. The dealer finds a bad tire and replaces it and the problem goes away for a few thousand miles and then is repeated again and again. The last time I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation and when I got it back it had a very bad vibration at highway speeds. The dealer has put identical tires and rims from a new truck on the lot but didn't fix the vibration.the dealer replaced the gears in the rear axle that didn't fix the vibration. The dealer replaced the rear bearings and hub assembly that didn't fix the vibration. The dealer tried to put different size rims and different brand of tires on that didn't fix the vibration. Now the dealer is telling me that GM will not do anymore and says the truck is within specs. I can no long drive this vehicle on the highway as it causes me to get headaches and become dizzy while driving.

Paint is extremely fragile, it's ridiculous actually. It scratches and chips by just by touching it. I've never seen a factory paint job look so horrible in such a short period of time. It literally looks horrible after a 18 months and is extremly difficult to get a deep shine even with polish, wax, etc. Chips are starting to show up all over the vehicle and slight pits are now showing up. The clear coat extremely thin to non-existent. I was extremely surprised to not find a recall at this point based on all the web chatter and what I'm seeing on my truck.

When driving a message on my information center pops up which states that taking my eyes off the road can cause a accident, ect. This makes me take my eyes off the road to see it and again to delete it. So this is a hazzard. GM said there is nothing in the owners manual about it, and engineering thinks that it happens when I touch a button on the insturment panel when driving. But it happens to appear when im driving on the highway and have not touched any control button., this is a serious distraction. Since I cannot duplicate it because it happens at random, when it does occur again I will take a picture of it. The message will not cancel on its own and blockes everything on the message center until I manually shut it off

I purchased a brand new 2015 silveradeo on 7/24/15 and at about 700 miles or so I noticed a bad vibration as the truck was in motion, took it back to the dealer cause I was very upset it being an $56,000 truck and all. They wanted me to leave the truck overnight and did not offer any vehicle to drive so I did not leave it with them. So I took the truck to ratfield tire and had the tire's balanced, all 4 tire's were out of balance, which I paid for out of pocket myself not GM.... this didnot fix the problem of the severe vibration going down the road. I then took the truck to another dealer for the vibration, they test drove it and confirmed the vibration, did a road force balance on all 4 wheels, then replaced all tire's, this also has not fixed the problem, the truck is still vibrating, the entire seat just shakes, I am presently waiting on another appointment with dealer. The service manager told me himself after replacing all 4 tire's that it felt like a balance issue inside the motor which there is no fix, now that is crazy...I fell that this truck should be replaced or my money back entirely.the truck only has a little over 2000 miles cause it makes me sick to drive it....

I purchased a brand new 2015 Chevy Silverado and in the first week I had it, while driving, the truck just simply completely shut off. Dealer claims they have never heard of this and after keeping truck for days stated could not find any issues. About one month later remotes not working and truck warning that emergency brake is on even though it was released. Could not get to register that emergency brake was off and while driving none of the turn signals were working as to truck warning to pull over due to vehicle emergency brake was on. I have only made one payment on this new vehicle and truck has already been in shop 2X.I need your help, please as dealer not helping me and I do not feel safe in this truck. I should not have to worry about it turning of or anything else as to being a brand new vehicle. I have attempted to speak with several managers and one just stated to me" that is why you have warranty and just keep eye on it." Since all this I have searched on the internet, and discovered that this has happened with other Silverado.. ed bozart chevrolett still claims no knowledge of this. Please help me. I feel this is potential accident issue. The first issued happened while driving on craig road which could have been really bad as this is a 45 mph road, luckily it was a weekend and not busy. I don't know what else to do. Spending over $40,000 on this truck not expecting to feel unsafe while driving.

I purchased a new 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500hd duramax crew cab lt from auto nation of pembroke pines Florida and at about a week or two of driving it I started to notice a bump/clunk from the rear of the truck just as I would come to a complete stop. It also does it just apon a strong acceleration. The vehicle had about 500 miles on it when I started to notice this. I brought the vehicle in for the first oil change at about 4K miles and told the service guy what was going on. He said they would test drive it. When I picked it up he said they could find anything wrong. I think it's the slip yoke sticking and needs to be lubricated or replaced. Some of the older truck had this issue.
