The oil pressure gauge jumped to zero on a cold day. It only happened if it was cold outside and the engine was cold and I hit the throttle pedal at least halfway down. The dash displayed a warning that oil pressure was low and warned me to stop the vehicle immediately. I did so and got a tow to the dealership. They replaced a faulty oil pressure sensor under warranty, no charge to me except my time and leaving the truck there overnight.
