The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. While driving 45 mph, the steering wheel had a lot of play and turned spontaneously. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to rogersville Chevrolet (5655 U S 11W, rogersville, tn 37857, (423) 207-2394) where it was diagnosed that the gear in the steering box, outer arm, and tie rod arms needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and were of no help. The failure mileage was 42,000.
