Dealer unable to get repair part and reports show up to a year to get. Truck unusable and is our only form of transportation. We are 16 miles from nearest town and also off grid. No truck, no food and water. No truck, no way to medical services other than waiting hours for ambulance or police. Chevrolet has known about this for over a year and apparently can’t secure replacement part manufacture. Chevrolet needs to replace with new transmission.
The part is the transmission valve body and fails due to plastic valve balls. Cheap out by Chevrolet.
