I hit a deer, code came on immediately after impact., air bags DID NOT deploy. The code had never been there previously, at any point in the three years I have owned this vehicle. However, when the vehicle went in for collision repair, the body shop claimed it was an "old code", and Liberty Mutual refused to repair. The code is clearly still showing up on the warning panel on the information, as I said, first seen after impact on 4/23/17 at 10:40 pm to be precise. So if it was an old code why was it NEVER there from purchase date of 5/30/14-4/23/17? Add to it the body shop said the air bags most likely WILL NOT deploy in a future accident.
