I bought my 2009 Chevrolet Traverse LS front wheel drive, on January 7, 2019. I was told the car went through a vigorous inspection. I drove it for about 4 days. Noticed the car wasn't running well. Looked at the oil, then proceeded to unscrew the oil cap, under it was full of yellowish foam. I immediately called them. They totally, tried to tell me it was normal. Really ???
Lucky, I grew up around cars and new it was anti freeze, and my engine blew its gasket.I then stopped to have it read, as the engine light was on. It read the car was running on two cylinders. They said," they would replace the vehicle with a new engine. It would cost me $1600.00 & they would cover the rest. Total amount I have spent on the car thus far is $10015.51. Actual retail on the car to turn it back in is only $2200.00. Then it was replaced. It continued to throw codes for Bank 2 sensor, $500.00. As well as I had to replace the rf ball joint and shocks. Yet again the engine light came back on again. So this is the 4th time back to the garage today. The bank to sensor has yet again failed. Ughh... this car is a true nightmare ! Come to find out the 2009/2010 have these problems that NEVER get resolved !
I have only owned it for approx almost 6 MO. " Worst", car I have ever owned. I recommend do not purchase this vehicle. I have been a Chevrolet girl my whole life, however I am now thinking Honda will me my next vehicle. Shame on you Chevrolet, for developing such an awful vehicle ! Bring back reliable vehicles like back in the 69' Chevrolet, actually ran without problems every other day !!! This computer crap is junk !!!! Leaves me stranded all the time ! Has cost me my jobs, almost as it is NOT RELIABLE! DISAPPOINTED! CHEVROLET STEP IT UP! DON'T BUY THIS CAR AT ALL, ENGINE IS AWFUL!
