This is a 2019 Chevy Traverse Premier Red line. I took the vehicle in for routine oil change. Mechanic called and reported that the vehicle's oil was two quarts low and the front and rear main seal were both leaking. The engine oil light never came on and I don't have any puddles in the driveway. Thank goodness this was covered under my extended warranty. I dropped the Traverse off at a local Chevy dealership. They reported this was indeed the problem. The total cost of repair is $6,800.00. My share is $480 for fluids and shop supplies. Chevy is really turning out some crap. A SUV with only 73,000 miles should not have this catastrophic of a failure. I've only owned the Traverse 15 months. This is on top of the total suspension system failure at 45,000 miles. The dealership had to suck up that cost of $3600.00 because it was less than 30 days from point of sale.
Don't buy any new Chevy's.
