I started car, put it in drive, pressed the accelerator but it would not move. Apparently the parking brake had activated on its own. I could not release the brake by pressing on the parking brake switch. The display said to press down on the brake pedal and then I was able to drive the vehicle. Subsequently this has continued to happen.
I brought it to a dealership and the advisor said this is a problem with Traverses and they would have to order a cable harness or the like in order to fix it. The vehicle was at the dealership overnight and I am waiting to hear from them today.
