My wife and I purchased a new 2020 Traverse LT1 on Sat Oct 31st. The following Thursday my wife got error messages stating "Steering Assist is Reduced Drive with Care", "Service Park Assist System", Service ESC, on the digital display on the car itself. We have also gotten emails from OnStar stating that an issue with the Antilock Braking System and Stabilitrak system was detected. This car was brought into the dealer on 4 different occasions.
It's now 12/13 and the car has been at the dealer more than it has been in my driveway. We keep getting the typical "We can't duplicate the problem" response or simply no contact at all. It seems like these cars have electrical issues going back about 10 years. Every time we get the car back, within 24 hours the errors pop up for us as soon as the car is started.
We actually called the state attorney generals office about the Lemon Laws here and ended up giving the dealer a written 7 day final notice of repair. I've had issues with vehicles in the past, but nothing like this and nothing that either myself or a repair shop couldn't fix. I would NOT recommend this car to anyone OR the dealer that we bought it from.
