When I bought the chevy trax in February 2015, everything worked fine! A few months later, the gas gage stopped reading properly. I would fill it up all the way, and the gas would only go to half a tank. Told the dealership of the problem, they had my car for 5 DAYS!!! and said there was no problem when they filled up the tank. However, it happened to me multiple times, so there was obviously a problem. They were unwilling to do anything else for me. So I started a case file with GM head office, and they had to get tech support involved. Over a month later, some genius realized it was the float in the tank that was not registering. They did end up fixing the problem, after getting GM head office involved.
