Trax was running great for our extended road trip vacation. A sudden bang and the engine stopped. This cancelled our vacation. We took Amtrak back home and left the car with a Chevy dealer. Dealer called me and said a connecting rod broke and went thru the engine block, there is a waiting list with 90 other customers needing a new engine, ECOTEC 1.2 L TURBO. According to the window sticker engine was manufactured in Mexico, vehicle was assembled in Korea. Does anyone know if there is a class action lawsuit against GM for these engines?
