I bought my first ever brand-new car in November of 2023. 2024 Trax. In September of last year, the sunroof stopped shutting when in vent position. Dealership fixed it, saying the positioning sensor (or something similar) needed reset. March of this year, same thing. I took it in and was not doing it for them. This weekend, same thing, sunroof in vent mode, would go down and pop right back up. I have learned on my own however, if you interrupt it shutting in vent mode, and send it down gradually, it will shut all the way. Chevrolet of course says, " no recall or issue known". I have been a "bowtie" girl since my first car over 30 years ago but I think it's time to get out of that. Quality is down, and they don't seem to care about customer satisfaction anymore.
