The Chevy will give off heat unless the car is in forward motion. We just purchased used, and the warranty being 3 months 3 K, was out the first month. No help from the dealer, we went to the Dodge dealer we purchased from. It took all day to replace the thermostat. It worked for about 1+ months and now is not working again, they want to run a diagnostic again ($113) and review for replacment of thermostat. They have no idea what is wrong, shot in the dark. I am planning to review the web complaints, and hit another mechanic before going back to the Orig chevy dealer (sister of my dodge dealer). This was the worst decision we made to buy used!

When we bought the van it was summer and hot so we didn't need the heater on and when we did try it of course it sent hot air out it was hot out side . But when the cold weather came there was no heat. it blew out air but no matter how long i let it run to warm up it would not get even warm. I was told it could be the heater core and if it is its gonna be about $500 so im not sure if its that cause i need to save if it is!!!!
