I had taken two separate trips with my children; a 96 mile (one-way) trip and a 45 mile (one-way) trip. I was absolutely terrified when my husband found that both FRONT tires were so incredibly worn on the inside that the metal was sticking out. The tires were in great condition before that.
After having my cousin (who is a mechanic) look for what might be causing this insane tire wear, we bought new tires and placed them on the back and moved the back tires to the front so as not to ruin the brand new tires if it occurred again.
Guess what????!!! It wore down the other tires to the metal in 6 weeks!!! We traded that damn thing off and got a Honda Pilot!
