So incredibly disgusted with GM!!! Finally able to get my van out of the shop in Oct of 2008. Have only put a couple thousand miles on it and something goes wrong again.

Come to find out it is the crankshaft that was damaged by the coolant that damaged the cooling system. Price to replace crankshaft is almost as much as replacing the engine.

We have decided that since we have already put in so much money, that we will put in a new engine and a new transmission. Please research any GM vehicle involved in the Dex-cool settlement. You can go to dexcoolsettlement.com to find out which vehicles were involved! It is HORRIBLE stuff!!! Can't express that enough! Wish GM would do something for the people who did not find out about the settlement in time!! We are just out a lot of money!!
